The next step — even abroad
You’re living abroad — in a place others often dream of.
And yet, something doesn’t feel quite right.
You’re functioning. You keep going.
But something feels off.
You might recognize this:
- You feel restless or more easily overwhelmed
- Your energy is lower than before
- You keep thinking, but don’t seem to move forward
- Work and personal life start to blur
- You feel slightly disconnected from yourself
Sometimes you reach a point where you think:
This is not how I want to continue.
Not because everything is going wrong —
but because something no longer feels right.
Even when you’re far from home, you don’t have to figure this out alone.
Sometimes one conversation is enough to create clarity.
Sometimes more is needed — we’ll decide that together.
Who this is for
When living abroad starts to take more than it gives
Distance from your familiar environment can create space.
But it can also bring things to the surface that were easier to ignore before.
At that point, it helps to pause.
To reflect — with someone who looks at your situation with you, without judgement.
I help you gain clarity about what’s really going on —
and what your next step could be.
- practical and goal-oriented
- personal and focused
- grounded in psychological expertise and coaching
For organisations
Working and living abroad can be demanding
New culture. Different expectations. Distance from home.
What looks fine on the outside may feel very different on the inside.
Signals you may notice:
- reduced energy or engagement
- doubts about role or direction
- stress or signs of overload
- difficulty adapting or connecting
Early support helps prevent dropout
and supports sustainable performance.
What I offer
- individual guidance (online)
- support with stress, adjustment and direction
- combination of psychology and coaching
- practical and results-oriented
This can consist of one or several sessions,
or a short, focused trajectory — tailored to the situation.
How it works
Sessions take place online. This means:
- flexible scheduling (also across time zones)
- from your own environment
- in your own language
Between sessions, you can always reach out via email or WhatsApp.
I usually respond within one working day.
Sessions are conducted in Dutch.
English can be used for initial contact if needed.
Sometimes one conversation already brings clarity.
Sometimes more is needed — we’ll decide together.
